Full Size Horse and Pony Friends

Stash is very social and enjoys meeting other equines of all sizes. He lives on a farm with sport horses and ponies - equines that compete over jumps and courses, as such he has many friends who are full-sized. This is a photo of Kitty, a medium-sized pony and Stash in a little snuggle inside the barn. During the warmer weather Stash and his fellow mini horse buddy, Mr. Toes will play outside in their outdoor paddock. Any of the horses or ponies that pass by can tuck their heads into the paddock and visit him there. When inside, during the colder months, Stash has a stall outside the practice arena so everyone (horses and humans!) have to walk by and say hello. Horses are social creatures and typically move around in herds. The relationships within these herds are usually positive reinforcement based and involve grooming and cuddling - perfect for reducing stress and anxiety. Stash excels at this behaviour and translates this to his human friends as well.
