Emily’s House

When Stash visited Emily’s House, a children's hospice, it was for a memorial service to celebrate young lives shortened too soon. Several of the children, families, and caregivers came together to remember and celebrate their loss.

One of the patients had hoped to meet a horse, and although she passed from our lives just days after they met, her happiness in that moment was visible. Stash carefully pressed his forehead with hers and the moment was peaceful, and is a memory we will all keep in our hearts of a beautiful child in a courageous battle.
