Stash in the City

As a horse, Stash is not permitted to live in the city of Toronto full time. He is given day passes from the Animal Services Department and he is then permitted to travel through the city. For many horses, it can be daunting. Loud noises, fast traffic, many people everywhere. Most horses will spook with a plastic bag flying by, but there are some horses that are very calm and steady around multiple sources of distraction. Such horses include the Toronto Mounted Police. These lovely and majestic horses travel around the city, doing their part to keep our city safe and secure. Not only are they a part of law enforcement, we are pretty sure they are like city meet and greet staff because they sure are friendly to hang out with!
