A Wintery Visit

When stash visited Deerwood Senior Care Home many of the residents there enjoyed his company, especially those who had previously worked at the Woodbine race track and missed the company of horses. His visit brought many happy memories for the residents of the home and created conversations about their time working at the track. Stash enjoyed meeting everyone and there were many trips down memory lane and of a different era.

For some patients with cognitive decline or who are non-verbal, Stash provided a soft and comforting connection. Cuddles and hugs, brushing off his mane and coat was mutually enjoyed. Stash and his team look forward to our next visit!
